"This mural was painted in a beautiful home on the Palos Verdes penninsula.
The small, below-stairs wine cellar has a glass door so the mural could be enjoyed from the entry, the game-room and the dining area.
"The challenge of this project was to incorporate the sloped ceiling, the wine-sensor, the existing wall sconce, the above-counter / below counter views, and the many plane changes of the mural's surfaces.
" By incorporating 'trompe l'oeil' and perspective techniques I was able to create a quadrature-pictorial of a Medieval village.
"Projects like this one are what makes mural painting for private homes so enjoyable and interesting." -RQ.
