This project for the Hill Classical magnet school of the performing arts was done in collaboration with Larry Lousen at "Boss Graphics".
Larry spacializes in the design and execution of large super-graphics and custom sign-murals for schools throughout California.
"After we designed an ensignia and logo for the school's entrance,
we were commissioned to decorate the interior of the school's auditorium.

The shool colors are blue and white... so I designed blue drapes, to frame the stage,
with a repeating pattern of white marble panels and columns.
The drapery motif is echoed at the rear of the auditorium,,,
... as the columns and panels encircle the interior of the gallery.
The faux-marble panels and the columns are layed out in order to incorporate existing light sconces.

The Ionian capitals on the white-marble columns creates the ambiance of a classical Greek theater for the students' dramatic performances." -RQ
