While this project was relatively small, the detail required to create the illusion of the carved (faux) stone frame for the portal, and the subtle lighting effects were no small task. The scale, design, and the setting for this piece all come together in a very graceful way. I think this is one of my favorite projects to date. It was a joy to work in this elegant, yet comfortably intimate, family palazzo. back
